cry too much. I'm sure I was too excited and too glad to finally be here and have things done at home. I have already sensed the beautiful spirit here. I can honestly see why a lot of returned missionaries are sincere when they say they would like to trade places with me. I love it already and feel sorry for those at home who are missing out on it.
We heard about driver safety - it almost makes me afraid to drive, but I hope it makes all of us realize what a challenge it is to do properly.
We ate our dinner in the Hotel Utah. It was a good thing they let the sisters through first, because we were still the last ones through eating.
We went back for a general information meeting with Pres. Joe Whitesides, the mission home president. We heard about our companions, our new names (Elder and Sister), the temple on Monday, the discussion memorization, etc. It will be a full few days.
My companion is Sister Joan Boyce from Quincy, Washington. She is going to my mission, so we will be seeing a lot of each other. I really love her already. Our days are going to be so full from now until the end, so I hope I get the chance to write. This morning after breakfast we went to the Temple Annex chapel for a meeting with Pres. Sorensen, the temple president. He told us some special things about our temple experience tomorrow.
Then we went over to the Tabernacle to hear the choir practice and broadcast. It was really beautiful.
