missionaries went upstairs to meet with Bruder Tew, the evening supervisor. He explained what we would be doing in the evenings. We have a full schedule divided into five periods. The sisters leave at 9:30, the beginning of the last period, because we take a little longer to get ready for bed. We had district study in companions for a while until we went into the grammar review with Schwester Herring(?)Hering. She really moved fast and spoke fast, but I think we've got a good district. I'm still so enthusiastic about being here. I got a lovely letter from Elaine. It was really good to hear from her. I finally got my bath in: Viel Spaß!

I guess we're trying to get on the regular missionary schedule now. We get up at 6:00 then share the bathroom as we all try to get ready. Then we must be to the Amanda Knight Hall before 7:00 for breakfast. Our first class begins at 7:30 and goes to 11:00, then retention for one hour. Then we have lunch and begin class again at 1:00. We go until about 3:45 then have P.E. (Mon., Fri., and Wed.) or proselyting class (Tues. and Thurs.). Dinner is around 5:00. Then we have a break until 6:40 when we have zone meeting. Then evening classes begin at 7:00. We've got an excellent district; they are really on their toes. These fellows are really great. I am so grateful for the Lord's help — I couldn't do it without. I sent Sheldon a birthday card, but I don't think it will reach him by tomorrow. I studied with Bruder Barber today. He needs self-confidence, but he can do well. We studied again with Sis. Hering.
